Cerys Turner is a textile print designer and maker based in Brussels. She graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in printed textile design and worked for fashion design companies. Since 2010, Cerys has been creating prints on a freelance basis for fashion and interiors.
Often inspired by other cultures and vintage styles, with a love of colour and pattern mixing, Cerys enjoys working hands-on with traditional techniques like cross stitch and screen printing. As well as drawing and painting, she often works digitally to produce contemporary print designs.
She also enjoys helping others discover and develop their creativity and leads workshops to assist people in learning new craft skills. Cerys believes that learning to express yourself creatively can lead to a more fulfilling life and works with a wide range of people to help uncover their creative potential.
The ‘Stitch Me Up’ collection of craft kits has been featured in national (CrossStitcher magazine) and international press (Frankie magazine). It also led to collaborations with the Fashion and Textile museum, producing bespoke stitch tote bag kits for their shop.
